Twenty journalists, editors and directors of local public and private radio stations attended a seminar dubbed “Regional and Economic Cooperation as a Precondition for European Integration” held in Vukovar on April 2-4. Journalists from Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina heard lectures delivered by political analysts and economic and media experts who spoke about this very important segment of European integration during the pre-accession and accession phases.

The seminar was organized in the framework of a regional project supported by the IPA fund, “Regional Network on Promotion of European Integration,” implemented jointly by STINA institute from Split, the project leader and host of the seminar, and Sarajevo-based Media Initiatives and Research Center on Ethnicity. The project consists of three educational seminars in Croatia, Serbia and BiH, production of radio shows on different aspects of European integration in these countries and publication of a booklet for journalists on this subject.
