With the support of the French embassies in Belgrade and Sarajevo and Sarajevo Centar Municipality, three reciprocal study trips will be organized in September – December 2007 for journalists from Serbia, Kosovo and Bosnia-Herzegovina to Sarajevo, Belgrade and Pristina. The aim of the project is for journalists from Kosovo, Serbia and BiH, who face problems related to ethical and professional attitude of media toward the community and society, to meet during the study trips and exchange opinion. Journalists from Kosovo will be acquainted with experiences from BiH, which faced similar problems in the past. For journalists from Serbia and Kosovo, this will be an opportunity to develop tolerance dialogue in the future on common professional issues. The ultimate goal, in addition to acquaintance and discussion, is to create long-term contacts and create networks that will continue to operate and work on future projects related to professionalization of media and advancement of professional standards in media. This way media and journalists from Kosovo will gradually be included in the cooperation networks that already exist in South East Europe.
