Media Plan is the first private, independent organization on media development in Bosnia-Herzegovina, founded in 1995 in Sarajevo.
Today, Media Plan is an institution with a lot of experience in media research, education of professionals, online information and different communication projects. Media Plan implements projects in all countries of South East Europe. Our network of partners and contributors is constantly expanding, crossing the borders of language, politics and culture in the quest for excellence in knowledge and practice.

WORKSHOP HELD ON “REPORTING ON MULTICULTURAL VALUES”(09.03.2010)
A workshop dubbed “Reporting on Multicultural Values” for radio journalists from Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia was held in Banja Luka on March 4-6. The education seminar placed special emphasis on radio production in coverage of national minority issues and the editorial dilemma of whether to produce programs for minorities or about minorities.

NGO SECTOR AND PUBLIC RELATIONS(22.07.2009)
A workshop for NGO officials working on social issues, under the name NGO Sector and Public Relations, was held on Vlasic on July 13-15, organized by Media Initiatives and supported by UNICEF.
The goal of the workshop was to train representatives of non-governmental organizations active in the field of social protection of children in responsible communication with media, audiences and other stakeholders in the process of social protection of children.

MEDIA INITIATIVES AND UNICEF IN A JOINT PROJECT(17.04.2009)
Media Initiatives and Media plan in collaboration with UNICEF on April 1 launched activities aimed at building communication capacities of relevant state bodies, non-governmental organizations and media in the framework of the project “Enhancing the Social Protection and Inclusion System for Children in BiH”. During the campaign, public opinion research will be carried out, as well as monitoring of media contents that deal with child right issues and a number of workshops on strengthening communication capacities and news skills in covering this issue.

JOURNALISTS FROM REGION MEET IN VUKOVAR(08.04.2009)
Twenty journalists, editors and directors of local public and private radio stations attended a seminar dubbed “Regional and Economic Cooperation as a Precondition for European Integration” held in Vukovar on April 2-4. Journalists from Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina heard lectures delivered by political analysts and economic and media experts who spoke about this very important segment of European integration during the pre-accession and accession phases.
